Well got the Leon home this evening and shes all done drives like it did before cam failed.
New Cam Kit, cam , buckets, shells.
New cam belt and water pump
x4 glow plugs
oil and filters

so made up to have her back, shes like an old pair of slippers you what i mean when you just feel comfortable and relaxed in something :D

so decided I am going to sort boost pipes out as the the two in and out of the fmic the lugs are worn and definitely feel im loosing pressure here.
so going to order some new seals and clips for all the others:
I have the following numbers which i think are right but appreciate if anyone can confirm.
turbo pressure hose's

1J0145834AE
1J0145762BF
1J0145828R
1J0145834AA
1J0145838AG

dont think I need all of these, need the two in and out of fmic, top one is ok,need the red one from turbo down i think or might get away with new seals and clips. Plastic one across the front is ok. will look better tomorrow but think im along the right lines.

8 orings needed
6 x 3C0145117F
2 x 3C0145117

if anyone has done a pipe upgrade and have any decent original hoses left lying around for pd150 ARL then drop me a message to discuss sale prices

cheers guys

The standard kit can be refreshed quite nicely by replacing the clips and seals, and using a needle file to reshape the lugs on the pipes.

cheers gaz good to know might go with two bottom ones in an out of fmic as they are the most worn and refresh seals and clips on the others then to start with.

Although , it does depend on how badly the lugs are worn ! Have you looked at prices of standard boost hoses yet? Extortionate! Would be cheaper to front mount than replace them all!

yeah been looking tonight robbing gits for some hoses.
car is high mileage and no plans for any performance upgrades so standard IC should be good enough its the crappy OEM pipes that let it down.

can anyone confirm the part numbers listed are correct for 1,9 tdi pd150 ARL?

might be looking at second hand if can get some in decent nick
