Thermal Fuse Blower Resistor

Following on from a previous post can anyone tell me if I can use a 240 10amp rated thermal fuse to try and salvage my heater resistor before buying a new one I think the resistor has a 250v 10amp thermal fuse but I can't find that fuse.
