I'm thinking of selling my Cupra in the next 2 or 3 months. I've owned it for over a year now and i love the car to bits but i need something abit bigger with more doors.

I was wondering if someone could give me some advice on how much to advertise it for. Heres the spec

2002 Mk3 Ibiza Cupra has done 42k
Silver
FSSH
Cambelt + tensioner changed 2 weeks ago along with water pump (metal impellor type)
All coilpacks have been replaced
All the usual cupra extras plus:
17inch team dynamic Pro race 1's in black
Scorpion cat back exhaust
Forge TIP
Jabbasport induction kit (Golf version modified to fit)
Laguna FMIC
nomad pillar pod
Boost gauge
Oil Temp Gauge
B&M style short shifter

Will also be getting it serviced next month and MOT'd and tax

Has small dent on the pass door, which was there when i bought the car and has a light scuff on the rear bumper strip.

What do you reckon then people and also wheres the best place to advertise it? Obviously on this website but where else?

Thanks

autotrader and pistonheads seem to be best mate. i'd advertise it soon as it could take a month to sell! regarding price i'd say around 5.5-6k ish looking at similar examples. yours has a bit more value due to good milage :)

I've been offered £6k for mine so I'd say about the same for yours :) Might as well try £6.5k tho!

Where did you advertise it? Did you start at 6.5k and end up selling for 6k:)

Have an idea of what you want to sell it for realistically and then advertise it for around 2-300 quid more. That way you can knock money off when negotiating and still get what you want.

Id say between 5.5 - 6k:)

mine an 02 plate wich i got two or three weeks ago when i got it ,it had 39.000 on it n it wer up for sale at a dealers for 6.999

hope that helps

Dealers usual ask a bit more though don't they. Did you buy it standard or did it already have the mods on?

Lol tell me about it, money is tight with me aswell after buying my first house i have to watch the penny's.

I wouldn't complain if i got more than 6k, I will certainly be advertising it for more than that. I'll just have to see what sort of responses i get.
