Hi Jay,

Like the vid. As much as I like my Leon I do like the fun you can have in a Cupra/Boca.

I'm struggling to find one with Zenons but if I can't its no biggie.

It makes you wonder where VW get their figures from. It's claimed my Leon standard does 0-60 in 8.2 but there is no way it takes that long, i've not done a timed run in mine yet.

My mate that had one said his only issue was that the brakes fade quickly but then everyone has different driving styles anyway and some give brakes more abuse than others.

Out of interest mate, what have you got top end (pm me if you don't wanna make it public ;0)

Got 148 out of mine when VW claim 133 top speed WTF!!

I really like the Xenons but yeah as you say there hard to come by and pretty expensive. Its marketing(Polo/Audi A1 0-60 is rated as quicker than the skoda and the seat), keeps insurance down too on the cars, so makes it more affordable for the customers.

I was giving it the beans round some proper roads the other weekend and never noticed any brake fade, suppose consistant hammering around a track @ 100% would do it though. Uprated pads I guess would cure that if it was a problem?

Sat nav'd 140 and then had to back off as someone fancy being in the outside lane. Duno what the speedo was pointing at (over 140) i was busy watching the road!

Yeah I loved the little blip you get on the downshift! It's amazing the little things that make you smile.

It impressed me the way the gear changes seemed seamless! Do you get complete control in manual shifting because some auto's i've driven change up for you even if you want it to.

250 miles out of a tank will do me. I'm getting about 400-450 in mine with mostly town driving at the moment. I'm guessing it costs about £65-70 to fill up?

Yea there really smooth, you can hardly feel 6th/7th change over
Not total control, if the revs are too low when your breaking it will change down for you

I've never put anymore than £60 in ATM!
