would question why it had 2 new fronts after 9000 miles?

Because he's been driving it? I replaced my fronts after 6000 miles!

I agree, it doesn't sound right, a dealer would give him much more than £5600 and with less hassle than selling it privatly.

I just think the buy it now price makes peoples alarm bells ring, plus the guy puts an email address to contact him by rather then ask seller a question, it just looks suspicious, could be harmless? as anyone tried contacting the guy by the email address? I have posed a few questions through ask seller a question with no reply.

you never know you could get a right bargain here as there is no reserve

Well I dont exactly drive like a granny and my tyres lasted nearly 14000 miles before they were at minimum.

If it looks too good to be true, it usually is!

That car must be worth twice what he's asking for it (on a good day)! I also think this must be some sort of scam. Either that or the bloke really is mental.

I emailed this guy a few days ago and this was his response:

Hello Tim and thank you for your interest,

I had to pause the listing on ebay because I've almost reached an agreement with a local potential buyer. Unfortunately, it looks like there are some problems and he doesn't have all the money to pay, for the moment. Therefore, if you are willing to pay the buy-it-now price £5600, I'm ready to start this transaction with you.
First of all you should know that the car has a clear HPI, it's in excellent condition, like new, mechanically and aesthetically intact, no damages, no hidden defects. This SEAT LEON has only 9200 original miles. It is in pristine condition. In addition this SEAT has been adult owned, driven and always garage kept. It's a UK machine with UK specs and right handed drive. Overall interior is pristine throughout, no rips, tears, burns, stains or worn spots anywhere. It has never been smoked in.
Although my ebay account was initiated in UK, I'm located in Netherlands for the moment. I spend a lot of the time in UK with business but I have my family here in Netherlands. I took the car with me here a few weeks ago. I'm willing to ship it from here through KLM Air Cargo and cover the shipping and insurance fees to your location in UK. The total price is £5600 shipping included. I thought selling my SEAT through eBay would be a good idea, giving the fact that I need some fast cash to start building a new house here.
If you're further interested I can also send you some extra pictures of the car.
Please let me know your position as soon as possible,
Phil

Glad to see it's been pulled.
