Hi all,

This is the first forum I've ever posted on so go easy on me!
I've just traded in my old 2008 Stylance 2L TDi for a 2015 Leon FR TDi 150.
I'm 90% certain that when I press the accelerator there is a slight delay before the engine reacts. I detected it on the test drive but thought maybe I was imagining it. It does it in all the driving modes, it just feels really strange. I'm going to take it to a dealer but wanted to know if anyone had experienced the same issue and had any advice so that I've got some background info before I go. Also, I bought it from a SEAT dealer 30 miles from my home town, I also have a SEAT dealer in my home town, which one should I go to as the car is still under warranty.

Usually I get this feeling in Eco or Normal mode but once I have it in Sport mode, this feeling goes away with the throttle responding almost instantly. My standard setup is Individua Model with Sport engine, normal steering and normal AC.

Thanks for replies so far.
I will try tinkering with the modes.
What is a Dtuk pedal box?
A previous FR that I had a test drive in didn't behave in this way, neither did my old Stylance.

the fly by wire throttle can feel rather hesitant, add in a bit of turbo lag and you might as well catch the bus... or keep it in sport and find the sweet spot

buy the dtuk pedal box brilliant bit of kit. has many settings so you'll find one right for you....right anyone know where the bloody cap button is on an acer chromebook?

GOOGLED IT FOUND IT!

Thanks for all your replies guys.
I've got peace-of-mind now as I thought I may have bought a duff 'un.
It's nice to know I wasn't imagining it and I just need to learn drive it differently.
I spose this is the price to pay after driving my previous Leon for 7 years, it becomes part of you lol.

I have 1.8TSi 2015 and at the beginning of pedal there is a lag, blunt pedal .. I tried to change 44 Steering -> adaptation -> Driving profile switchover -> direct: controlled over threshold value ; Also 01 Engine -> Byte 0, Bit 0-2 and it should
"Change from Škoda (01) to AUDI (02) this will dramatically reduce lag on pressing accelerator pedal" but for me I see NO DIFFERENCE. Has anybody tried it ?

I drive a lot of different cars due to my job. The Audi Q2 and Skoda Scala have the very same issue. It's a funny one as the Arona/Leon/Golf seems to be a lot sharper with the same engine combo.
