Timing Mark

hey dude there is no timing mark on the crankshaft on that engine i think u have common rail injection on urs the only way to time your engine is there is a rubber gromet in your gearbox housing if u remove that there is a mark on the flywheel which you need to line up with a metal point at the top of the hole its hard to see but its there! hate doing these belts they are crap! good luck!! and if its a Pump Diesel model you will need a timing tool to lock the crank up

I have found a small mark on the cranshaft gear almost like a centre pop mark and it lines up with the mark on the housing when the no 1 cams are in the up position, so I am assuming that this is the mark, However I will have a look at what you suggest and thanks for that
