Tinted wing mirror

Driving on the motorway today on two different occasions i was getting blinded by headlights in the wing mirrors.
My old bmw had factory tinted glass, has anyone removed the mirror and tinted it?

This comment will not be of assistance , but my 2005 Mercedes CLS55 had dimming side mirrors! That was the first time I encountered that option.

I haven't seen tinted side mirrors yet for our platform though...

Yes an old e46 m3 i had a long time ago came with that option, but most bmw's as standard had tinted side mirrors so was hoping to do the same on these as for me it's quite unusual without.
Obviously I would be using tint film as opposed to bmw oem way.
