Tip : How to set your clock

I'm sure with the clocks going back some people will not be sure how to fix their clock.

All you need to do is twist and hold the trip reset button to the left to fix the hours and twist and hold to the right to fix the minutes.

Hey guys,

I have a mk4 2002. Just having an issue with this clock reset. Basically I can change the time, but when i turn ignition off and on again the clock sets itself to 00.00 all the time.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have a mk4 2002. Just having an issue with this clock reset. Basically I can change the time, but when i turn ignition off and on again the clock sets itself to 00.00 all the time.

Any help would be appreciated.

Check your fuses - sounds like the permanent live to the clock has blown

EDIT - is it a 6 dial dash in your 2002 ? - do a search - there was dashboard issues with the 6 dial dash panels.

Had this same problem.. does the trip computer reset as well? I found that mine was caused by a missing fuse- probably the previous owner had taken it out to hide the engine management light

It could bw the fuse must check that out. the trip computer seems to be ok. same with the outside temp gauge is working ok.

Its the 4 dial dash in mine, prob is the fuse I must get it looked at. nothing major just annoyingl: lol
