Hi all,

After watching some reviews and having a test drive I have ordered a Cupra 290 in black, excited but the expected delivery is October from leasing options!

Are there any cool features or tips and tricks I should look forward to/try once October comes around?

One of my newest best finds was the hold voice command button. It’s not a secret but I never knew it would then activate Siri or whatever Android is. Very useful for when you’re driving along and want to put an album on etc!

Its definitely worth playing with the individual mode opion in the settings. Ive set mine up to be softer suspension and normal mode for gearbox, but Cupra mode for steering and diff. It makes the car more lively, but still drivable around town. Sport and cupra modes are too much around town and comfort mode was a little lazy feeling.

And disabling the keyless entry...

Interesting, what settings do you need to change to make that happen. I was under the assumption that if you disable it you wouldn’t be able to start the car as it won’t be looking for the keyfob. Or can you just stop the door handles from accepting keyless?

You have to do it each time you lock the car. Lock it by pressing the key fob button and a few seconds later, cover the lock sensor on the door handle. Means the key can't be scanned and just have to use the key fob to unlock when you next go back to the car.

Also agree with ChrisM75 about the individual setting.

Be gentle first 5-600 miles on throttle, then you can be less gentle next 5-600 miles, after that, once the engine is warmed up, enjoy!

I thought two "covers" of the lock sensor did this too ??
