Toledo water in Tailgate

Hi all.
I'm scott a new member and owner of a 2015 Toledo 1.2 tsi looking for some help with a water ingress issue which is frustating the hell out of me.the issue is that after it's been raining and I open the tailgate water keeps running out of the bottom usually from the black rubber stopper or between the tailgate carpeted panel .this can happen on either side depending on what angle the car is parked at.
I have checked the rear washer hose and cant see any issues there and I am considering resealing the two small sections of taillight and possibley the S boot handle to check it's not that but wondered if anying else has experienced this and could throw any light onto it.

Welcome to SCN, maybe the seal is needing replaced, try searching/posting in the Toledo threads of the SEAT car forums, good luck.
