Had my cupra a month now and it's just too low fit me and the roads near me.
Not entirely sure how much it's lowered but im going to assume alot.

Can't get a jack under it and the wishbones are at a proper angle when you have a look underneath. Exhaust touches the beam aswell.

Soooooooo,,,, what's a sensible amount to lower these by,? Was thinking 25-30mm. Don't wanna buy new springs and it be just as low. Running bilstiens shocks btw.

Any advice great fully received, or if any one wants to swap springs to go for the low look let me know.

Cheers lee

Mones running bilstein shocks and is 40mm lowered, but still a big gap to get the trolley jack under. Get some pics up of how low you are...

It's lower on the front. Just not practical for the roads round by me. Bump steers like a pig, the angle on the wishbones is rediculouse. I bought it as a drivers car not for looks lol. , so it's deffo coming up so I can start giving it death.

Can people bang up some pics of 30-40 mm drops ? Would be very great full.

The car doesn't look that low till your driving it. Catches on every little bump :(

The only way to go higher than that is to go back to standard suspension. lol.

-60 looks like this. 16" wheel tucks a seriously stretched 40 profile tyre.

If you see a picture here this is how low mine is, its around 40mm I think, with h&r cup kit with eibach springs which are slightly higher than the h&r ones. I had them replaced when one snapped a while back.

(if no pic then ill have to learn how to post them)

See I would say mine is that low but running no rear spacers so wheel is in board slightly. Might see if I can find some -30s.

im lowerd 70mm on front and rear with 25mm spacers on the back with no stretch and 7inch rims and its perfect you need to bend the arch lip but part from that it sits perfect with no arch gap and no scraping
