Hi Guys

Just a quicky, i am looking at some top mounts on ebay the orangey/red looking ones as they say they lower the car a further 10 mm which would be ideal for mine as i have the spax PSX 30mm kit and it dont sit level needs about another 10mm so these would be ideal. Heres a link

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230925092772?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

do you huys reckon i should replace top mount bearings as the car is now on 115,000 miles and i have never changed them, if so does anyone know if i can buy them seperately if i can from where? and a rough cost would be excellent.

many thanks

What about powerflex I have fitted new standard top mounts with my lowering springs but there was such a difference in wear between the new and old bush it reduced my drop:-(

just looked on psi tuning, i had never heard of that before. its good website. and i also found the top mount bearings barging £16 so im going to order them and the top mounts hopefully should get the car sitting nice and level. i shall take a before and after pic.

I was considering these when I got my coilovers fitted but the guys at Awesome said they don't stock them as they have heard reports of people getting knocking from them not fitting properly. Not tryin to put you off, just for info :)

Hi guys right I fitted the top mounts this afternoon. And can confirm that the squeaking noise that was there has now gone :) but I now have a creaking noise when turning side to side. I now presume that maybe grease needs to be applied to the top of the bush where it locates in the turret maybe ? But the ride is pretty much the same feels a little tighter through the steering. And it has lowered the car a little 10mm maybe not but definitely lower.
