which i am sure is not right, i reckon its more like 12-13 sec
unless they timed with a large driver not trying or something
16.7 in my old 1.4 - full rpm start feeding the clutch in. didn't last 2 runs doing that though.
Not stripped out at all, and running 195/45/15's

Richard - From memory you'll be lucky to get more than 100 at Combe. You need a long, long straight to get over 120.
Never take offficial manufacturer stats as gospel. I think they do the tests with full tank, passengers and suit cases or similar. Tends to effect insurance prices etc making the cars more affordable for some.
Well, I can confirm that on the 1 mile long part of the runway we were using at RAF Marham today, I was entering at around 75mph, and by the braking point, I was just doing a shade over 120. There was a wee bit left to come, but would probably have taken another mile or so to wring it out.
try : low fuel, light drivers, engine belts etc off to reduce friction, tyres pumped up higher
