Probably a stupid idea but how about a search for the top 10 / 20 threads over the last 24 / 48 hours?
I got back last night from 3 days away and only had about 30 minutes to log on to see what had been happening. I usually just click new posts but this came back with over 20 pages, which I didn't have time to read
Of course next time you log on you only see the posts since last log on.
If there was a place to find the threads that had the most number of posts of the last few days I could keep my finger on the pulse without having to wade through the dross.
Or else I shall just have to 'find' more quality time with SCN
