Towbar info required

I've been given a towbar with electrics from a 2009 Leon 1.9 I wonder if anyone can tell me if this would fit a 2003 Toledo 1.8 20V SE.

Take the rear bumper off and try it, but I somehow doubt it. The towbar off my 2001 toledo now resides on my 2001 Octavia as they're basically the same floorpan (MK4 golf / Bora)

Are the towbars for the Golf/Bora/Toledo/Leon/Octavia all the same part?

My dad bought my old Toledo that I stole the towbar off for the new one, and he is looking one to replace it! Would make the search for a second hand one easier if it was the same part of them all!

I fitted a toledo bar to an octavia estate - both were 2001 cars, all I had to do was fold a seam near the hitch for clearance.

A 2009 Leon is a more up to date chassis, it won't match with a Mark 4 chassis (and hence your Toledo). Having said that, you still might be able to get it to fit. I'd follow Dox's suggestion, lose the rear bumper and give it a go.

2009 is mk2 which won't fit,u need a mk1 leon or mk4 golf/bora which i know fit
