I take the MOT as service interval. I dont drive that many miles a year (about 9500). Servicing in my book means:

-oil
-oil filter
-petrol filter
-sparks
-interior filter
-wiper blades (if needed)
-air filter (if needed)

I plan on doing an oil change every 5000 miles got and use castrol edge 5w30 yesterday it was around the 100 mark due to it being a cold day we're asfriday was warm
