Does any one have a tracker on there car. Probably going to get a Cupra in the new year and the other half wants me to get a Tracker, as the car will be parked on the road at night and that i live in Crewe.

IS it worth it and who are the best companies?

I have been thinking about this for the FR

Though i found the insurance didnt drop to that much at all well not enough to cover the cost of the yearly subscription

Personally though if my car got nicked im not sure i would want it back as thats all they are trying to do

Yes, I've got one, had a few intial problems, but were sorted within 24hrs, http://www.smartrack.uk.net/, paid for a lifetime subscription, worth every penny for the peace of mind I think....

My thoughts exactly, two previous cars (Impreza & Mkv Gti) had trackers fitted by previous owners, when I got quotes most insurers only offered a 5 or 10% reduction which diddnt cover the subscription.

And no, if my car was stolen I wouldnt want it back either... Plus the fact wouldnt it then be on the HPI register??

Wouldnt GAP insurance only cover it if it was written off, not stolen, then they can still damage ur car and you have to cover on ur insurance.

I have thought about this but cant see £299 being worth it esp if there is a subscription. If it does get written off and you have GAP insurance like you say, you (technically) wont care anyway as you will be able to buy a new one!! (minus any mods)
