You'd think sensor impairment would be logged in the cars error codes although in the early days and probably still true Formentors threw up many error codes from their systems. What they mean is it's currently not showing any errors.... they probably cleared them down. Where Obdeleven is useful. You can read the errors although you still get charged diagnostics but atleast you can see what they should be looking at.
That was my on the road diagnostics last year on holiday when the dash through up assorted errors in my Ateca. Top view stopped working, reversing camera. It showed an ABS fault, cleared it down, functions returned then got triggered again. That one was a known fault that ABS sensors can cause delirious effects on other systems. Here you need a sharp tech guys in the dealership.
