Hey, thats very interesting. I would be really suprised if it was any different on the Ibiza's ECU. In which case when Seat told me there is no way of adjusting it then they were probably being conservative with the truth.
My average MPG on this tank is a bit more reasonable - according to the display its about 52.
When I next fill up I'll find out if it has miraculously calibrated itself or if my fuel economy has now dropped below 40.
If its the latter then I'll be having more words with Seat
