My average mpg, speed and milliage travelled is reset every time I turn the car off.

Really? Every other car I know the average mpg etc stays there utill you manually reset it, tonight example I drove 5 miles it's logged 5 miles and a mpg but if I go out there now it will be zero'd off.

Ah right, it's quite irritating. Can't find anything in the threads maybe il go old school and check the manual

The average MPG does reset after a while but not straight away. Do think the mileages/times do as well but not sure I'm rarely off the Average MPG display :p

status subject to change
your in the wrong mode.
there are 2 sets foir many of the computer readings, one for the current journey, (or if you stop less than 60 mins IIRC) and there is another for somehting like 400 hours

the rest button on the understide changes mode, if you press it and hold it down it changes from mode 1 to 2. BUT IF YOU KEEP IT DEPRESSED FOR TOO LONG IT RESETS THE DATA.
not all the read outs have 2 modes, the mpg is one that does so have it on that when playing with it and you will see how it works.

Aha, well done andy just seen it in the manual. Press reset for < 2 secs and you can select function 2 total route memory. Which continuously logs to 100 hours or 10,000 km.

Thanks everyone for replying.

I did wonder what the little 1 and 2 meant but didnt think any more of it. Off out now to change it!

Thank you!

I just picked my Leon 130 TDI SE up today and it has the reset / rocker switch on the stalk but it doesnt appear to do anything. How do I know if my car has the feature (was listed as such on autotrader) or is it broken. How would I know ?
