Trip Computer

Has anyone had any problems with their trip computer not working? i bought the car with a MOMO steering wheel on it and i'm wondering if anyone who has fitted aftermarket steering wheels has had this problem?

I have had a look at the stalk but it seems fine. It's stuck on outside temp.

Nope mine works fine with the steering wheel, take it you have a Cupra, 1.6 Sport or 1.9TDI as the 1.4's don't have all the functions.

Ive got 6k facelift 1.8 20vt its got the sliding button on stalk but i doesn't seem to work.

Sounds like an amazing excuse for a stalk with Cruise Control features!

Same problem with mine, its been back to the dealer loads now, at first they said it was the stalk... then the wiring... now they say its the radio thats at fault - awaiting a replacement one of those!

As soon as I saw this thread I was going to say "RADIO is at fault" - either it's the wrong radio and it's never worked or it's broken in some wierd way that I've not heard of before.

In the past I have had my radio replaced at the dealer, and they installed the wrong one which stoped these stalk features working.

I had the same problem, radio was the wrong one. Bought a new one and its all good.
