I wouldn't do the engine mounts. Did the dog-bone on mine for a SuperPro Poly bush and its harsh. I'll be putting it back to standard as there is not enough gain to justify the loss of refinement. Poly bushed suspension was well worth it though.

Keep the Leon and invest in the extras, beautiful car and capable of putting a stupid smile on your face with money spent in the right areas. Dont get rid!!

In my own little world.....
I'm even more undecided on what to do now.

Defo not the Focus, have ruled that out on economy.. or lack of!

Could do the mods AND get myself a shiny new IMac and ipad maybe?!

Or I could just wait for another 2 years and get another car then..  :D

Hi Guys, I think i already know what you're all about to tell me but i have seen tuning boxes on ebay similar to this one: ITEM; 290480518728, ending on 26-Oct-10 19:27:39 BST - TDI/Diesel Tuning Chip PD Seat Altea Arosa Leon +38BHP £20 ish......... I just wanted to get a real handle on if they REALLY do actually anything ?? or are they just a gimmick. I might consider a REVO stage 1 remap anyway...£295 for members of this forum i have heard...!!!

Avoid those very cheap boxed from ebay at all costs!. All they will be is a 10p resistor in a plastic box the plugs into a sensor (normally air or fuel temp ) fooling the ECU that it's cold and therefore it adds more fuel.

This article explains it very well. eBay Guides - 20+BHP Tuning Chips' - The TRUTH
