Turbo in mk2 Leon Cupra R (2011>)

Has anyone any idea whether it's safe to fit an aftermarket turbo timer to the new Cupra R's?

Just so my turbo doesn't wear out. Have you any idea how hard it is to stay of the boost? HaHaHa.

Wouldn't bother, if its too hot when ou turn off the cooling system still runs

Unless you live on a motorway then not very. Just stay below 2000rpm. Simples

No reason why it wouldn't although I am not sure why you would want one or what the insurance premium adjustment might be with one fitted.

The turbo is cooled by way of engine running - best way to deal with it is, as mentioned above, make sure the last few minutes/miles are done off boost before switching off.
