I think you may be better off trading it in for a Leon FR or even Cupra, it's pretty expensive buying let alone installing a new turbo and intercooler then you also have to tune it and the results may be underwhelming. Also, you will probably not recoup much of the money you spent on upgrades (most won't want to buy a tuned car) if you sell the car in the future. Just IMO.
 
My Leon is an FR 1.4 Tsi.

This guys i've mentioned claimed to get almost 230bhp out of a 1.4 tsi... The turbo is not that expensive, looking at 200/300€..
And i definitely do not what to sell the car, this will stay in the family :)

Ah right, well was thinking of the more powerful FR version :)
 
I really don't understand this FR version... those 125bhp are barely there.

I've had a previous Leon 1.2 Tsi which i remap to 130bhp... and was more alive than this version.
 
The FR used to mean it was a sporty car with a bit of oomph unfortunately with the mk3 the FR turned into a trim option, basically you get sporty looks unless you choose the 1.8 or 2.0 tsi
