Turn off "infotainment" screen but keep music playing?

The low washer warning only comes with the winter pack these days, used to be standard. However you can retrofit it and it isn't too difficult to do. I'll be doing it myself soon and once I do I'll add another DIY to the guides section :happy:

Old news now, all about stealing wheels and washer bottles! :funk:


BUT in all helpfulness, I’m 99% certain there is an option for the screen to ‘Auto Off’ after a time, I’m sure I’ve seen it and know for a fact it was on my MK7 GTD.

I’ll look through the menu this morning.

lol, yeah, thanks bgb, but as said yeah that option is there (which is a great idea!), but completely stupid that you have to set it every time you get in the car!!!!!!!!

Have set the screen brightness to "very low", and it does retain this, (inconsistency!!), but I would still prefer it to be off completely.
