Turning Alarm Off

Went to a meet last night, and to say it was a little noisey would be an understatement.

Anyway, due to the bass levels around us, my alarm must have gone off 7 or so times. It meant in the end, I left the car unlocked and hoped no-one decided to take a peak inside whilst I was away from it.

Is there any way of deactivating the alarm? Not that I would do it all the time, just for the odd occasion.

Someone told me to lock the car with the key, so I did, 2mins later "beep beep beep".

Stopped being funny after the 5th or 6th time TBH

TIA

Yep, another

forbez, seen that (only spotted it last week, had it since sept lol), but as you said, that was for interior sensors, didn't think that that would do much.

I think it may be the sensor under the bonnet that triggers it off, possibly bounces under vibrations? Had a scooby rumble past mine a couple of weeks ago that set it off!

Same here, my alarm went off everytime I took the ferry to my parents cabin until I looked it up in the manual..What you do is you turn the key to lock, in the drivers door, then you turn it all the way in the opposit direction, then back to "middle", then take the key out(the red led stops) Jobs done!!!

Yer ive had to turn my alarm off due to bass/loud exhaust, lock your car by your key by turning it to the left and then slightly to the right till your interior light comes on. itll still be locked but with no alarm.
