Lol im in glasgow , **** that then , if you needs and that, sounds a hassle

Thanks tho

I think it took him all of 5 mins to de-activate it hehehehe. Plugged in his laptop which I assume has VAS on it and hey presto, my life is so much better now. Contact him any way, he may be able to help mate.

First time i got someone flagging me over because of the cornering function today lol all i can say is fml

LOL. I am sure in the country side they are good but I live in London so have no use for them at all. Besides you need to be crawling along to turn before they come on.

I find myself feeling actually embarrassed when they come on. If anything, it's made me a worse driver as I tend to indicate as little as possible, or fling my car around a 90 degree corner at 30Mph so they don't come on :D.

I've not been pulled over or anything yet. To me they're a good (verging on great) idea, but totally pointless for the areas I drive in and they're such a new thing that other road users just think that you're one of the pillocks who drive around with their fogs on.

It has to be done by the dealer with their computer plugged in to the car

OR

By someone who has VCDS on a laptop and the correct cable plugged in to the car

Either way - it neds to be disabled within the control unit of the car through the OBD port

there is a way to disable the cornering lights without the use of laptop or any kind of program.

i did it on mine.

behind the light control switch you just pull out pin 11
or as i did i cut it and installed a switch on pin 11 cable, and whenever i want cornering on i put the switch to on position and when i want cornering off i put it at off position.

the pin 11 cable is the cable that goes to the cornering control unit and tell it if the lights are on,
so if we cut it, the cornering control unit thinks that the main lights are off so it doesn't turn on cornering.
it is like the command pin in a relay.

i figure it out one day by messing with my cables

hope I helped.
