Thickness [mm]: 25; Type: Internally Vented; Centering Diameter [mm]: 65; Diameter [mm]: 312; Height [mm]: 34,4; Hole Arrangement / Number: 05 / 10; Minimum Thickness [mm]: 23; Pitch Circle Ø [mm]: 100; For PR number: 1LT

Thanks. Eurocarparts have Pagid front discs and pads for £85. Is that good? I've read to stay away from Eicher.

I've had Pagid before, they're a pretty decent budget brand. £85 is a good price.

I've never heard of Eicher, so I'd also stay away from them! That's not to say they're bad, but when it comes to brakes it tends to be a good idea to go for the known good brands.

Pagid are apparently oem on Mercedes and some others so hopefully should be at least oem quality

I bought my Pagid discs from Eurocarparts they had 25% off at the time . Fitted about two months ago to my Cupra 180 AUQ seem to be fine at the moment pads are ok to.

I've for Pagid pads all round and discs in the rear. My old C2 came with OEM Pagids too, and they were always spot on.

I just fitted pagid discs and pads all round and got them from ECP. They are OEM spec and middle of the road quality wise I was told by the guys from ECP. They've been spot on so far with no problems.

The website does list a few sizes but if you call ECP they'll confirm what part number you should order as I had the same question over size. Sorry can't remember which one it was.

Cheers

the pads have a sticky back 3M thing on them. not seen that before, usually i would copper grease the back of the pads. assume the 3M is to keep the pad from rattling and squealing in the caliper and no copper grease is required?

Yup the shims on the backplate are there to damp out brake noise. Whether you need some copper grease is something you won't know until you run the pads for a bit to be honest.

it's not a shim though, it's like a bit of sellotape on the back of the outside pad

Yeah will be to stick on caliper piston or the inner face to stop rattling and/or rubbing when not braking. So yeah don't grease the back of the pads but obviously as still do the sides that slide inside the caliper/carrier.
