What's the best tyre, I don't care on the price, just want 4 good tyres!

GSD3 at 66.50 for a 215/40 16
T1R at 50 for a 215/40 16.

Which one?!?!

gsd3 f1's.
they are not necessarily the best tyre out there, all round tyres are a better bet than out and out grip.
im running marshal kxx17's (i think thats the model no., its the latest tread whatever its called) and they are fine all round tyres, probably nice and well priced at that size.

If the choice is Goodyear vs Toyo, I'd go with the Goodyear.

My mate has Toyo's on his Corrado VR6 and he says they're ok but they break traction easily at the limits (not very forgiving) and they don't last long.

I have Goodyears on my LCR and they're not the greatestst tyre around, but they are very good :) I've had them on for around 6k miles and there's about 3-4mm left on them, so wear is pretty good too.

As for tyre prices, pick up the yellow pages and phone around locally before ordering online. I had my tyres fitted a couple of quid cheaper than mytyres price for just the tyres. ;)
