Unable to Access this site from PlusNET ISP

I am unable to access this website from Plusnet ISP. My tracert details are:

any Ideas the ISP has been contacted and this only occured 2 weeks ago.

Do you have a proxy configured at all?

And just out of interest what do you get if you try to ping www.seatcupra.net?

SCN wont respond to pings

I'll check the firewall logs as its set to block anyone and anything that doesnt like the look of

No proxy, just direct access through ADSL Router. NSlookup picks up the correct IP Address and other website access is not blocked but I am unable to access this site.

I've removed the block for now. You might wanna take a look at your PC to find out why it's trying to use 409 concurrent connections to the server.

Right I changed my XP TCIP.sys as the Microsoft XP SP2 only allows concurrent connections of 10, and torrent files normally need more then this. I check my Pc tonight. Thankyou.

I've got a similar problem, I can no longer access SCN from home via NTL broadband. I've tried from both Firefox and IE, but neither of them work.

I expect NTL have some sort of web caching problem somewhere. I will try and find another proxy to use.

ive had the same problem with supanet.

couldnt connect several times this week. Reconnecting often solves it, but has been very slow since.

Edit: I ran a traceroute to www.seatcupra.net and it got past the NTL boxes before getting stuck.

Out of interest, if you're on broadband there's little point in using a proxy server, let alone the NTL one as it's slow. Might be worth trying it with the proxy disabled?

I don't use a proxy server, I was going to try and find one to see if that solved the problem.

Phew - don't like them as on ADSL they usually slow things down. Do you / have you checked DNS entries etc?

Now that others have said they are having the same issues, I'm pretty sure its not a problem with my PC. I certainly haven't changed anything recently.

I'm with NTL though. The only recent problem I had with them was that they upgraded their network (ready for HDTV) and it broke my cable modem. It took them about 3 weeks to actually admit this and give me a new modem.
