No proxy, just direct access through ADSL Router. NSlookup picks up the correct IP Address and other website access is not blocked but I am unable to access this site.

IP Address 80.229.236.2
Host Name kwan88.plus.com

And the firewall log said....

80.229.236.2 # lfd: 80.229.236.2 found to have 409 connections - Wed Nov 1 21:32:29 2006

I've removed the block for now. You might wanna take a look at your PC to find out why it's trying to use 409 concurrent connections to the server.

Right I changed my XP TCIP.sys as the Microsoft XP SP2 only allows concurrent connections of 10, and torrent files normally need more then this. I check my Pc tonight. Thankyou.

ive had the same problem with supanet.

couldnt connect several times this week. Reconnecting often solves it, but has been very slow since.

Might just be plusnet, i was with them before i transferred to firefly - lets just say i am in no rush to return ;)

I'm with NTL though. The only recent problem I had with them was that they upgraded their network (ready for HDTV) and it broke my cable modem. It took them about 3 weeks to actually admit this and give me a new modem.
