under a ton head unit

i'm not after a sound off system but i'm looking for a new head unit soon.
looking at ipod compatible green backlit front loading single cd with removable face plate.
i've a couple in mind that i looked at at halfords(might have bought one if some indian bloke hadn't tried flogging me a credit card AGAIN!!)
anyway heres a couple i have found cheaper online.
what do you experts think??

both look good.

I have always used Alpine, not that im a fanatic or anything, its just that I always end up choosing the Alpine because i think it's better.

In your case, though, I would go with the Blaupunkt. Looks better, you can change the illumination colour, and usually the cheaper Alpines are not really that brilliant.

just my opinion though, let us know what you choose.

this thread is a month old phil,head unit is probably needed first mind.its dyinjg on its ass at the moment.

then again i have been looking at this ,60+ quid more,much more of a head unit too.
