unknown button

alrite lads, i've found a button and dunno what it does, its near the esp/tcs control button. looks like an exclamation mark inside two brackets (.!.) with set underneath. had a look in manual and can't see any reference, any ideas??

That's the button for resetting the tyre pressure indicator. If that warning lights up on the dash, you need to check your tyre pressures.

What pressure should they be at? Mine has come up today - still got original michelins on 18" rims

Once you have inflated to the correct pressure, press and hold in the button for 2 seconds to reset it to the current levels.

It has come on to tell you one of your tyres has dropped at least 5psi

thats not the way it works blade.
it works using the abs sensors to monitor wheel rpm. a softer/flatter tyre will rotate at a different rate to the others and will trigger an alarm.
however, abnormal loads, long sweeping corners, ropey road surfaces among other things can all give false alarms.

Exactly right, on the country road home there is a ''fun' bend that I carry a little bit extra into (safely mind) and the light always shows up because of the excess load. I'm actually disappointed if it doesn't come on sometimes! :D
