hi guys i have a 1.4s i want to get more poke out of it but don't want to replace the engine for a 1.8T and have about £200 to £550 to spend what do you sugest

Save the money for a faster car mate. At most you'll end up with a an induction kit and exhaust that might at a push give you 5-10 more bhp.

you right just impaiant i use to drive fiat bravo 2.0 hgt and i miss the power thought about a cupra r mk1 or should i wait abit longer and get the mk2

Depends what you want mate, you could pick up a decent mk1 cupra for around 5k and there are plenty of mods to be done, for instance with a decent remap a 150 tdi cupra will rise to 190bhp (for £400ish - thats more bhp per £ than any other mod!).

Drop a 1.6 motor in there, it'll be cheap, easy and a noticeable improvement.
