Evening all.
Apologies for putting this up so soon after my other thread, but this evening this have got urgent!
Coming home from work, the car starts driving badly, whooshing noise increases, clouds of black smoke, engine management light on.
Stop at the road side, the intercooler hose has popped off between the front bumper (O/S) and the pancake.
Bodged it on (sliced open left hand doing it!) limped back to work. Grabbed tools and a jack (set the work alarm off in the process) took the flexible hose off, cleaned it, popped it back on. 4 miles later it came off with a huge BANG like a gunshot. Bodged it back, limped home.

New bits needed - SEAT original bits.
Does anyone know the part numbers? Need the parts asap, will call the dealer in the morning. Need the 2 flexible hoses, clips, O-rings.
Any help much appreciated. Pretty desperate!
Oh and I'll need a diagnostic scan and re-set, anyone near Reading in Berks?

I had this the other evening. I rang my local dealer and even at my work price that hose which comes complete with seals and two new clips is give or take £70. So I decided to buy the rose Motorsport hoses in red all 3 £157.

I got new o rings and clips from dave at sere motors, replaced them as a caution and stiffened joint using cable ties in a configuration that pulled the joint together. Iv noticed its oily again, doesnt seem to be loosing much at the moment. Its a poor design and havent yet found an ideal fix, as you cant just get some boost hose and jubilee clip it on.

Has any one got a link to these uprated ones?

look on forge motorsports website uk one. i ordered them direct all 3 for £167 del and arrived next day. excellent item nice and tight fit and finally no leaks worth every penny.
