I had a similar situation with my car. It turned out the previous owner did the cambelt but didn't do the waterpump.

Cue overheating up to the 3/4 mark on the dash and lots of worrying.

Got the pump changed eventually at amd essex along with cambelt and thermostat. The guy mentioned how the plastic impellor was really quite deteriorated and could have given out at anytime. If in doubt get it done asap.

Its fixed! Lol.. garage rang 7pm ish and said it was fixed! New cambelt kit (inc. pulleys and tensioners) new metal blade water pump, and asked them to clean throttle body (and they said it was CAKED in crap, prob never been cleaned before) £340 all in.. Good price??

Fingers x'ed she is sorted..pick it up in the morning n we'll see i guess :)

Cheers Lee... Anything i should look for/be careful of now cambelt and waterpump are done? Or will it feel/drive exactly the same?? Cheers
