Hi all,

I’ve recently started making use of Apple CarPlay in my 2016 leon but have noticed I cannot seem to use my personal phone on CarPlay whilst having my work connected via Bluetooth? I need both connected for work purposes, and previously used Bluetooth to have both connected at the same time so I could receive calls from both.
If it’s not possible I guess I’ll have to stop using CarPlay, which would be a huge shame
Thanks

As far as I am aware there is no way to do this, it looks like having something connected through the USB port to android auto or car play will stop the bluetooth connection

Android Auto requires both BT and USB connection, guess same goes for car play.

I guess so, but then how could I use my bluetooth to have two devices connected at the same time before, but now only one?

Do they require bluetooth? Am I the only one who gets the message bluetooth connection cancelled when I plug my phone into the car?

You're seeing that A2DP is cancelled, which is used for music streaming over bluetooth. Android Auto still uses bluetooth for telephone connection to the car.
