hi everyone ,got a squeak when I depress clutch on the wifes ibiza 2003 1.2 have sprayed wd40 everywhere but it is still there anyone have any ideas?

the clutch release bearing on my old fiesta used to squeak, maybe that?

thanks for that could be ,hoping someone would answer saying it was a cable which is not visible to the naked eye

I had a 97 polo and the clutch started creaking with that i thought the same as you and changed the cable. Which did help but i discovered with min that the actual part that engages with the clutch was creaking on the pivot point but it was quite hard to gain access as it was inside the housing!

Could just be the cable though? and cales arn't usually that hard to change!
