vagcom is software you put on a pc / laptop...you then connect it to your car and check for error codes and can do logging.

Yes it is very good for finding faults and logging your car

that looks like its a fault code reader and thats it. Thats not actual vagcom. A majority of the leads are blue. Have a look on ebay or if u go to the vagcom section on this site you will find what ur looking for
