looks ok for the money, its pretty hit and miss whether the cable works off ebay or not, mine worked but mine looks slightly different than that, i know a few peeps that have bought off ebay and it didnt work

good for money though, mine was £20 without a driver CD!

you still need the software though

yeah, you can get a shareware version of vag.com then get the codes off here. Just thought it might be handy to have rather than spending £20 a pop at some garage.

Dont they sometimes not work with USB ??? Isn't it best to get a Serial lead ??

yeah they work, i think its because VAGCOM only see's com ports 1 - 4

when i plugged my usb in, it came up on com 9

have to go into device manager, change the com port to com1 and happy days )

i use 311 as i couldnt get the usb working with 409

alot of people have though

just ordered one there, fingers crossed it all works ok. only worked out at just over £13 for the equipment.
