was this block 020? timing pull...?

just been looking up the torque, seems to be a little below revo quoted 240lb torque, 305Nm works out to be about 224lbs torque on the converter, just checking block 020............

so 3.0 CF is o.k then? yeh standard N75 on the car.

I have had the coolant sensor replaced back along as it used to go up and down on the dash.

it does it in the higher gears, if you go through the gears revving it, no probs what so ever.

my brother said it could be spark plugs or a coil pack, are the coil packs hard to change? silly question but where are the coil packs, I take it these are related to the spark pugs?

surely it cant be the revo code, I have the 4 bar revo? & have the 4 bar FPR.

but from what you have seen the figures are pretty good?

Coil pack sits onto on the sparkplugs they are a common problem but normally if the go they either work or they don't! Normally what happens is that under high load it wont work and engine will run on three cylinders will tick over ok though! Have you checked for any fault codes?

checked for fault codes and zero found, do you think it could to be with the spring in the forge dv ive got, running standard spring at the mo? maybe try the yellow spring?

surely if it was anything it would chuck up a fault code or not?

would you get a fault code for a faulty coil pack?

Can't remember if it does or not! There are a few things that can go but don't throw up a code! Coil packs may be one of them! Do a search on here for coil packs they'll be a fair bit of stuff!

As for the Forge DV I can't say, i can't see it causing a problem but might be an idea to phone Forge and ask!

If it has always done it then it maybe a code related!

Sorry i can't help anymore, there are alot more knowledgeable people on here than me, so maybe they will be along shortly to offer more advice ;)

o.k thanks for the advice sie, maybe I could ask my local dealer for a flash of the latest code as the finger doesnt seem to be pointing at anything else through vag com.
will look up about coil packs my brother says it is not running as good as it was last time he drove it, then it was minus exhaust and cai filter.
I dont know, its just the hesitation that is bugging me

arranging to go up to the revo dealer this month so maybe will chat about it then and explain the probs.

just thought id add block 115, dont get me wrong the car still does perform but the hesitation is not right and didnt have this when I bought the car.

will get to the bottom of it but might take some time, thanks again matey!

Ahh, i have the sigs hidden from my view.

Sounds like you have a K03S, so 180g/s is not out of the norm.

Youre logs look fine.

I thought k03 for leon 2001? might be wrong tho.
just gotta sort out the hesitation probs at higher gears, unsure if coil packs, spark plugs, revo or something else, the never ending story continues.........

just checked blocks 014 015 which is for clinders 1-4 mis-fires, mine says misfire recognition.... disabled? should this be on, if not it would not pick up a fault with mis-fires, anyone come across this on your own cars.
