I'm regularly up and down the A38 between Birmingham and derby, and I have VAG-COM with me on my laptop, so I'm happy to get the codes off. Won't cost you anything more than the petrol you'll need to meet me somewhere. I think Wednesday is my next trip?

Ive got Vag Com, can scan faults on a very old lappy, cant really tell u what the problem is though. In Werrington.........

Dunno if this is helpful but there doesn't seem to be any fumes comin out of exhaust
