Nope. These things don't read much more than the engine module. That's about it really.

The one huge selling point is in the description that reads :- "Though so small, light and handy, which is dynamic and fashionable in design, competitive in price and easy to use."

That's how I like my diag tools - dynamic and fashionable in design!!

This looks much better.

It gives full definitions for the faults instead of just codes and covers all the important stuff like engine, abs, airbag, aircon, immobilliser, dash pod etc

It also resets error codes, some live data, resets service lights and can access engine faults on any OBD compliant vehicles not just vag cars.

Really good bit of kit, it might be double what others are but its a quarter the price of vcds and ideal for people who love to do a bit of diy work.

if all you wanna do is read and reset fault codes and service lights then this is the tool for you mate.

No computer required.

yeah it has a 16diag lead and a usb for updates (which are free).

VCDS or VAG COM is a more indepth piece of equipment used for measurements, adaption and programming, almost equivalent of the main dealer equipment.

no worries pal, i've had 4 and always sold them for more than i bought them. people are just really impressed once they have a go with them.

If you have an after market radio be careful that its not shorting out the diag socket though.
