Any of the eBay cables do the job, but to get the full features fo VagCom you've really gotta pay, with the eBay cables and freeware you can look at error codes/ logs, but cant change anything..

Just had a quick read of this and think that ought to be suitable with one of these.

The first question I would ask is, what car is it for? If your car is one of the CANBUS ones, then Ed's recommendation won't work.

DH Gate is where i got mine with 10.6 software......£22 all in and will work a treat no doubt when i actually know what the F@ck i'm doing with it...!!
