vcds on windows 8

has anyone managed to get vag.com to work on windows 8. I have a registered version that I bought from ebay version 11.11.3. worked fine on my old laptop with windows 7. got my a new laptop with windows 8 but cant find a driver for the usb cable.

If its genuine can u email them for support? my full version worked really well on windows 8

I've tried asking them, but as I am not registered with them as I bought the cable from eBay they will give me no support. what driver did you use for your cable ?

TBH i just downloaded the software and it worked, but i dont have windows 8 any more, i think you need to do some jiggery pokery in windows 8 to allow the usb to be used though? nothing vcds related.

You say you bought a registered version ?, who's it registered with ?. I would contact the seller on ebay and get a refund, then buy genuine from ross tech, there is no problem with windows 8 and vcds.
