Very Strange Engine Sound!

Afternoon!

Got a wierd noise that comes when i start the engine, attached a little sound file, any ideas what it could be?

Thats your starter motor running on mate, its harmless but very annoying. My tdi cordoba used to do it, my dads alhambra does it and my mates golf does it. You can strip it and grease it as a temperary fix or replace it as a perminant thing.

Cheerse for that mate, il replace it then! Bugs the hell out of me!
