Need to change my light bulbs as the seat ones are crap.. Are the Vision Plus still the preffered choice for better brighter bulbs etc?

I have always used them in my cars for replacing ordinary bulbs, not sure if they are the best but they definatly make a difference, in the case of my 5 series BM a huge difference.

Autocar still reckon that Philips VisionPlus and Osram SilverStar are the best ones to go for.

Philips GT150 are the same as VisionPlus, but with a blue cap.

Ooooo and that sounds like a plan...

Which ones did you lot change? As it's the "normal" night driving lights that I'm finding crap.

That'll be the H7 dipped beams then. You can swap the H1 high beams as well if you like.

No point doing the H3 fogs, as they don't do anything anyway.

changing the bulbs is a piece of cake..... just be careful to not touch the bulbs with your fingers, and be gentle....
took me about 1/2hr most to do my sidelights, main and dipped beam. Was expecting 1hr plus... as was told it was very tricky. Pleasantly suprised tho

Just ordered the Phillips bulbs

I've just asked Seat to fit them when my car is in for some work and they just said no probs and aren't charging me.. :) Just need to add bonnet seal to the list though

I did mine as well in the dark and wind :D took me around 20mins (15mins one side and 5 the other :p)

I did H7s and H1s and got a free pair of ice blue sidelights which went in as well.

Biggest difference is when you go full beam down country roads. Also people get out of your way on the mways quicker as well cos of the white colour think its something large, executive and fast :D
