hello community, I'm an owner of Formentor 1.4 Hybrid, since June 2021
I'm wondering how my alarm works, does it horn ? does it send emails ?
I shaked my car and tried to open it making a simulation of theft but.. nothing happened

morever, sometimes I forget it unlocked inside my boxe, of course shut-off but doors doesn't close automatically, as I assume should

I am a bit confused, anyone have more experiences into this ?
thanks a lot for any comment

As far as I can see it does not have shake sensors, it only triggers the alarm with movement in the cabin or if the doors are forced open.

I was thinking of testing it with a person being locked inside the car.

that's a good idea, I will try to make a test with my nephew :)

however, doesn't understandable to me, why rear lights turns on as soon I park my second car behind in the same box, happens not so often
my Formentor is closed, I thought is the same alert that Tesla does, but I did not find anything that say that on web

in this forum someone had the same, apparently was a glitch that should be fixed with latest update, apparently seems it came back
does look weird, but I have none else to share it but here

It's strange you mention this as last week I had my Formentor on charge, it was locked, and whilst returning home, after walking my dog, the rear lights turned on as I approached the rear of the car and then turned off after a few seconds. I also noticed that the orange warning triangle was on in the instrument panel but I understand this is normal when it's on charge.

I'd be very interested if anyone has any thoughts on the rear lights coming on though. Is it a glitch, or something to do with the alarm? A strange one indeed ?

I've noticed mine lighting up the side warning LEDs when I pass the car in the garage (no keys on me).

I liked it and thought the car was giving an "I see you bitch" subtle warning :ROFLMAO:
