Hello all.....i have asked this question in the Toledo section with no luck.
Before i go ahead with the purchase, can anyone confirm whether the Milltek cat-back exhaust....with standard tailpipes...for the 1.8t Bora will fit my 2004 Toledo 20vt ?
Even Milltek themselves are not sure as they have never tried fitting one to a Toledo.

Get a part number and I'll find out what miltek is on my toledo

Trouble is the boot is longer on the toledo and my back box sits quite far in ( I have standard tips ) nothing on show

Yes....i see from the Parkers website that the Toledo is 65mm longer. How do the mounting brackets line up then as you obviously have one fitted on your Toledo?

Well i have got the go-ahead from Midland VW that the Bora system will definitely fit.
I just cant decide whether to go for the res or non-res. Considering i have a 2.5 downpipe with sports cat...ebay... , can anyone enlighten me as to the level of noise each one would produce? I definitely DONT want to end up with a system that i can hear when cruising on the motorway at 70ish. There again, i would like to hear a bit of noise when i open her up.

Actially,i have just read the Warranty terms of a Milltek exhaust and have been put right off them...i thought they had a lifetime warranty.
See below...

As long as you are the original purchaser, cat-back exhaust systems are covered by an anti-corrosion and manufacturing defect warranty and hi-flow sports catalysts and downpipes are covered by a 2 year or 80,000km warranty. We do not cover against any modifications made to our product after it has left our factory and also not for unusual use of the parts - for example, the use of Nitrous Oxide (NOS), aftermarket launch-control systems, damage caused by going over a speed bump too fast etc. Our warranties are offered on the understanding that the cars power maybe increased by up to 33% from its original specification but exclude improper modification. Modifications made to increase the power beyond this will render the warranty void.

According to the above, if i go a smidgeon over 239.4 bhp, i dont have a warranty at all.....

I think if you read the small print then a lot of warranties are like this but in reality they are not so strict. It just gives them leeway if they feel someone's taking the piss so to speak.

Can anyone of you fine people please confirm whether a non res Milltek catback with 2.5 downpipe/sports cat will be audible at 70 on the motorway ? Someone must have this set-up on their Leon Cupra surely. I got the money together and ready to take the plunge !

Hi mate. I got a non res with sport cat from the turbo back made by miltek on a lcr and it is fine at 70. Got 3 kids and one of them is 18mths old and they dont seem to have a problem falling a sleep in my car so I would say it is quiet enough bud. Buy it you wont regret it.

I had my Milltek non res catback fitted yesterday and I have a 25 mile commute home mainly all motorway, I cruised home at 70 last night and I couldn't even hear it. I was late for work this morning and done 80/90 and it was still silent. I know I don't have the downpipe+sportcat, but at least it gives you an idea. You can only really hear the exhaust when accelerating and on cold start which I noticed this morning.

Sorry for late reply pal haven't had time to get under the car
My exhahst tips sit about 60mm short off the bumper but mine are standard I don't like them poking out
I have a turbo back with sports cat non res and its quiet unless your giving it some but crusing is fine

My backbox has
MSVW170 13221-09

But every section had a different part number and I didn't have a jack handy to get all the way under
